Q: Is urbex legal?
A: It’s a grey area. Trespassing is usually civil (not criminal) in most places, but forcing entry or damaging property can get you arrested/fined. Know your local laws. We don’t encourage illegal activity, explore responsibly.
Q: How do I find good spots?
A: Google Earth, local history books, business closure records, driving around are some great ways. Half the fun is the hunt!
Q: Can I post my exploration report here?
A: Yes! Use the proper forum category, blur/obscure exact locations if sensitive, and include safety notes, some history, and 3-10 photos.
Q: What gear do I actually need?
A: At minimum... some safe sturdy footwear, a flashlight, phone, and a bit of common sense.
Q: Someone posted a sensitive location, what do I do?
A: Flag the post and message a mod immediately. We take site protection seriously.
